JDAI Library

Welcome to the JDAI Library. There are over 2000 documents in the library, generated by JDAI sites, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and other juvenile justice reform organizations that may be accessed by conducting a search.

You may wish to enter terms such as: case management, supervision guidelines, child welfare, education, gender, job description, LGBTQ, mental health, probation supervision standards, State Advisory Group, status offenses, disproportionate minority confinement, youth tried as adults, or case law and legislation. You could also search by stakeholder role in reform (prosecutor, police, health care providers, expeditor, JDAI site coordinator). Below are two specific sets of materials JDAI wishes to highlight.

 Technical Assistance Materials and Publications

A variety of JDAI technical assistance materials have been developed to support the successful implementation of core juvenile detention reform strategies. Ranging from publications of lessons learned to practical "how to" guides, these resources are intended to provide JDAI sites and the juvenile justice field with the key lessons and strategies for reducing reliance on detention and implementing fairer and more effective policies, procedures, and practices. To view these materials look through the JDAI Pathways to Juvenile Detention Reform, JDAI Practice Guides, JDAI Policy and Program Briefs, and the JDAI Starter Kit.
